This year, we continue the theme from last year by directing our support towards youth mental health. We are making a donation to MIELI Mental Health Finland, an organization doing invaluable work to promote young people’s mental well-being. Through our contribution, we aim to assist young individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, or bullying.
Supporting youth mental health is more crucial than ever. Many young people face intense pressures early in life, whether related to education, social relationships, or concerns about the future. By supporting mental health initiatives, we can help prevent youth loneliness, social exclusion, and bullying, providing them with tools to navigate difficult situations.
Sekasin-chat, a helpline for young people, receives around 160,000 contacts annually. However, the organization can only respond to approximately one in five messages due to limited resources. In the evenings, wait times can stretch to several hours. Thanks to donations, MIELI Mental Health Finland can offer conversation support to more young people and help them navigate difficult life circumstances.

Through this holiday donation, we provide concrete support to prevent issues from escalating and offer assistance when it is most urgently needed, says Joni Sundelin, CEO of HUB logistics.
Sundelin also emphasizes that corporate responsibility should extend beyond holiday seasons.
