HUB logistics and Arla Oy have commenced a logistics partnership. From now on, HUB logistics handles the internal logistics at Arla Oy’s Sipoo dairy.
Arla Oy is part of the international Arla Foods Group. In Finland, Arla operates a total of eight dairies, including cooperative dairies. The largest Arla dairy is located in Söderkulla, Sipoo. The company continues a dairy tradition in Sipoo that began almost a hundred years ago. The factory bottles milk and produces various products such as sour milk, yogurt, quark, cream, and butter.
The internal logistics service package provided at the Sipoo dairy includes the receipt of materials and products, shelving, picking, and packing functions. Additionally, it includes a Just-In-Time delivery service, where products are manually assembled into ready-to-go store-specific sets.
– Logistics plays a central role as it ensures the availability of our products to customers. Through logistics, we optimize supply chains, manage inventory efficiently, and ensure product quality all the way to consumers. This is especially critical in dairy products, where freshness and quick turnover are paramount, explains Arla Oy’s Senior Logistics Manager Peter Fallström.
According to Fallström, HUB logistics has strong expertise in internal logistics and is ready to develop alongside Arla.

According to HUB logistics’ Business Director Mikko Heinilä, the transition to HUB has been seamless.

Handling and transporting food products, such as dairy, require strict temperature control, fast delivery times, and adherence to stringent hygiene standards. Meeting these requirements is crucial for ensuring product quality and safety while minimizing waste.
The logistics partnership allows Arla to focus more effectively on its core business.

In the first phase of the partnership, the focus has been on establishing cooperation. Moving forward, the emphasis will be on developing the collaboration.
Through this partnership, HUB logistics brings logistics solutions to the dairy’s internal operations to ensure reliability.
