The Finnish Government as issued a statement in which it recommends avoiding any meetings, appointments and other physical contacts to help prevent the coronavirus from spreading. HUB logistics has also taken necessary precautions and policies as of 13th of March 2020.
We have decided that:
- All meetings and appointments will be conducted remotely using Skype, Teams or other communication methods.
- HUB employees will work from home whenever it is possible. Also travelling between different HUB sites and units will be avoided from now on.
- A Preparedness Group has been formed for HUB logistics. The purpose of this group is to make all necessary preparations to combat the crisis situation. It will coordinate the preparations and keep employees informed, keep the crisis plans up-to-date, and to give instructions about cleanliness, cases of infections and so on.
- Over the past few weeks, we have been paying special attention to hygiene and cleanliness.
All interest groups will be informed directly about other possible changes in HUB’s policies that may occur during the pandemic.
